Valley Transportation Group Hosts Benefit Event Golf Tournament For Phoenix Children's Hospital

Valley
Transportation Group, a Top Quality Agent for North American Van Lines serving
the greater Phoenix area for over 50 years, is hosting it’s 2nd
Annual Golf Tournament this year on September 8, 2001 as a benefit event
for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. A
free tournament for Valley Transportation Group employees, customers, and
national accounts, this year’s tournament has been organized as a benefit
event in an effort to help raise money to support Phoenix Children’s
Hospital’s campaign to build Phoenix’s first freestanding children’s
hospital.
As a current customer of Valley Transportation Group, Phoenix
Children’s Hospital was excited to hear that Valley Transportation Group was
going to raise money and donate 100% of it through a benefit event during it’s
annual golf tournament this year by offering sponsorship opportunities to its
participating companies. This is
the second year Valley Transportation Group has hosted this uniquely free
event.
“We attribute the continued success of our organization to the contributions of both our customers and employees, and feel that an annual golf tournament is a great way to express our gratitude,” said Mike Logan, president of Valley Transportation Group. “Giving back to the community has also been a priority for us, events like our annual United Way campaign and this benefit golf tournament for Phoenix Children’s Hospital allow us to share our success with those in need.”
This year’s 2nd Annual Golf Tournament will
feature representation from over forty Arizona companies, a raffle and silent
auction with great prizes and giveaways, hole-in-one contests and will even
feature the Phoenix Children’s Hospital monster truck.
